Rebecca you please tell us about yourself?
I am Canadian, married to my best friend and business partner Patrick and mother to a wonderful 13 year old boy.
Can you tell us a little about your upbringings?
I grew up in Ontario, Canada and spent a lot of my 20’s traveling the world, mostly Europe.
How did your family react to you creating an adult oriented brand?
With both amusement and support. I have always been an entrepreneur and will try anything!
How would you define yourself, and what purpose inspires you?
I am a hard-working and creative person, whose friends and family mean the world to me. It inspires me to have it all – love, friends, family and a comfortable lifestyle.
As a woman who multitasks and is currently running a successful business, what advise could you give other women who have no time to create or incorporate pleasure into their lives?
For starters, how could you NOT have time for something so important? Think about all you are doing to support yourself, what is all that hard work for if not to enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Love and intimacy isn’t work, it’s something that you need to let into your life. Set aside that time with your partner, or yourself and think about what you really want and go for it. Try something new, it doesn’t have to be crazy or complex but open yourself up to unique experiences.
How did you come up with the idea for creating sensual, erotic products such as Intimate Earth?
I wanted to introduce something that was 100% vegan, from natural ingredients with beautiful packaging and that was handcrafted in small batches for top quality. I took a look at what old apothecary used in lieu of chemicals, teamed it up with artwork from the elements of the earth (courtesy of my wonderfully talented best friend Lisa Mazurek) and the line was born!
Can you please explain how your incredibly beautifully crafted products can be utilized to aid a woman find her sensuality?
