Ladies & Gentleman it is with great pleasure on this fervor Friday to bring to you Alma & Patricia Founders Of Vibio . Patricia and Alma are childhood friends that grew up together to discover that female sexuality was still a big taboo in society. We became sex-positive advocates, and above all, sex toy lovers.

In 2018, we joined the sextech revolution to empower women to embrace their bodies and pleasure. As founders of Vibio, we want to bring women the best experience by focusing on great, simple design.

We believe there is no reason intimate pleasure can’t also be a social experience. Whether playing solo or with others, we can all benefit from exploring our sexuality in a natural way.

Alma & Patricia can you please tell us about yourselves?

 We have been best friends for 20 years and since last year we took up on the adventure of creating our own smart sex toy. In our opinion, pleasure and sex should be fun, and we want our toys to reflect that.

Can you tell us a little about your upbringings? How did your families react to you both creating pleasure tools?

We grew up in Gran Canaria, south Spain and our parents are slightly more conservatives than us, none of them had tried any sex toys (yet). They were shocked in the beginning but all in all, they have been very supportive and understanding of what we do and the mission behind it.

As women who multitasks families and a business, what advice could you both give other woman whom have no time to create or incorporate pleasure into their lives?

There is always time, it’s a matter of prioritisation. Set the alarm half an hour earlier or skip that late night Netflix episode, you won’t regret it and will immediately see the health benefits.

Goddesses as the founders of Vibio, can you describe Vibio to us?

Vibio is a smart vibrator startup. We are currently working on our first product, Ella, a wearable vibrator that can be controlled via an app, so that women can wear it anywhere and comfortably choose and mix the vibration patterns from their phones. No need to get your hands messy. It also allows them to add a partner to control the device for them.

How did you both come up with the idea for the Vibio?

   We were fascinated with sextech and the countless possibilities that technology could bring to improve female pleasure and satisfaction. Every body is different and not all vibrations work in the same way. Technology can help bridge those differences and personalise the experience.

Goddesses creating a new product is easier said than done. Could you tell us a bit about the process that led to the final product?

 That couldn’t be more accurate, it takes a lot of effort and time. In two words: design iteration! We were determined to create our ideal wearable so we crafted different shapes and sizes and started 3D printing them and adapting them based on user feedback. In the end, we made around 30 prints until we got to our final design.

 Can you please explain how the incredibly beautiful Vibio can be utilized to aid a woman find her sensuality?

Vibio is small and noninvasive, which makes it great for women exploring their sexuality. With the app, it allows them to craft their own vibration patterns and intensities and see how their bodies react to them, instead of just offering a set of default patterns.

How do you ladies want to impact the pleasure tool industry in a positive way for women and pleasure?

We want to help women feel excited about trying new things and experiences, instead of insecure and shameful. We have fantasies to explore them, not to neglect them, and we feel Vibio can help them unleash their desires.

Vibio is very empowering, as it offers women a way to be the decision makers when it comes to their pleasure, what would you like to say to the people that are a little more hesitant about products such as Vibio?

 They do no harm and bring pleasure. All the negative connotations of sex toys have been created by society, especially to bring down sexually empowered women and create shame and guilt around masturbation. But there’s also a big stigma for men. We encourage anyone who hasn’t used a sex toy to at least give them a try. Otherwise, how can you know it’s not for you?

 What does sexual empowerment mean to the both of you? Moreover, how do you both believe sex educators and pleasure toy innovators can empower others to find their sexual authenticity?

  For us, sexual empowerment is about embracing your sexuality and staying true to your desires. It is about understanding your own boundaries, and respecting others. Sexual health is a big component as well.

Sex educators can really impact how people feel about their own sexuality, helping many with the psychological barriers that stop them from living their sexual lives to the fullest. Us, sex toy innovators, provide the tools to explore it. For both of us, toys have been a very important part in our journey towards self-exploration. And they still are! Many sextech companies are innovating and coming up with new ways toys can be used, which means we have an exciting future ahead of us.

Goddesses you have any advice for females on how to utilize their sexual energy?

 Sometimes as women we tend to get distracted with what’s around us during sexual experience, instead of fulling taking in the pleasure. Channel your emotions and be present in the moment. Forget about performance, listen to what your body is telling you, and let it drive your experience. We always encourage women to explore their sexuality on their own, because that’s the best way to get to learn how to communicate with your body. And once you understand what makes you tick, you can bring along that knowledge with your partner.

Goddesses what would want to tell woman who are seeking to take on their own passion projects, and make them their career?

Go for it! Even if it sounds cliche, you really only live once so make the most of it. If you feel like sex and pleasure is your passion, make it your career.
